Tropical Smootdie Cafe in Navarre

I don’t know who is doing the hiring, but they need to really pay attention to the employees they hire on. The food used to be quality, smoothies perfectly blended and tasty, and the service was stellar. Now it seems like every employee is there just to collect a check and do the minimum amount of work. It’s not hard to see why because the manager doesn’t seem to care either. We have had an issue twice now with the food coming out sloppy and wrong, our smoothies not smooth but chunky and disgusting, and when we informed the employees and manager they didn’t seem to care

Sat here for 30 min after ordering pick up. During this time only 2 cars were served. We went in and waited an additional 10 minutes and the lobby was full of people waiting. Nobody greeted us or was even present at the register. We had enough and went somewhere else. Avoid at all costs!!!

Ordered online 11:27 and was waiting til 12:20 to get my two smoothies and food. the bahama mama was completely messed up and tasted like watered down pineapple and 7 other people were waiting on the simplest of smoothies longer than i was. don’t waste your money here.

Waited in the line for almost an hour, no biggie i understand they were busy. But once i did get to place my order mid order the employee just stopped speaking while having a conversation with other employees. I then waited another 7 minutes just to get a response! I am very understanding that they were busy but this just kind of threw me off a little.

Victoria and Christian are awesome and the food is outstanding. My daughter loves this place. She has me take her here at least 3 times a week. Can’t believe the negative reviews but unfortunately the complainers are usually the ones that like to leave reviews

Smoothies are basically strawberry with hints of other flavors. My wrap wasnt heated right and was basically cold. Employees and manager seemed confused and dont know how to handle a few orders.

Sometimes the smoothies are perfect and other times I vow to never return.

Take entirely waaaaaaayyyyy too long to serve people.

The poor workers were very busy and trying to keep up with the orders. I felt sorry for them because there were a couple of very rude customers. The smoothies we got were very good.

Every time I come to this location I wait 20-30 minutes in the drive thru. At that point what is another 10seconds to wipe the outside of the cup off that’s covered in sticky smoothie. I only receive my order after 2-3 people come to the window and ask me what I ordered.... management needs to step up at this location and be present. The worst part is the dirty mop water smell that comes barreling out of the drive thru window into my vehicle. I also watched an employee take out the trash and then go straight to making food without washing their hands on a previous visit. I’ll drive to Mary Esther and get Smoothie along next time.

I waited in line 25 minutes for a smoothie! The wait here is CONSTANTLY RIDICULOUS! I thought the person in front of me ordered tons of food. I was SHOCKED when all that was handed out the window was a yellow smoothie. Also they almost never answer the phone when you want to order ahead. I love the smoothies here, but hate to come because of the wait. If I wasn’t able to get some the best nutrition when it comes to smoothies....I would NEVER come. Even when I pull up to the window, there is one person inside. It’s unacceptable...a long line of cars behind me too. I’m now at the window...Another 5 minutes so far waiting on my one smoothie i ordered almost 30 minutes ago.Once I got my smoothie and checked the receipt....it was the WRONG FREAKING ONE!!!!!! I can’t believe this!

I waited 10 minutes at the drive thru and no one responded to the microphone. So I pulled up to the open window where I continued to call for help for another 5 minutes before someone yelled from behind a corner they would help me in a minute. The cashier was super unfriendly. This place has really gone downhill.

I don't know what is is about this location but it can not make a wrap to save it's life. I have been to just about every location from Pensacola to Destin and Navarre is the only one that can't get it together. I live in Navarre other wise I would not spend my money there. It did not used to be, I don't know what changed. Maybe I'm over critical but a wrap should not fall to two pieces as soon as I pick it up. If I were the G/M I would be sending that entire crew that works there to get retrained. When I'm in there it is obvious everybody is working hard behind a line but that's no excuse for not knowing how to do your job properly.

The smoothies have always tasted great. However it isn't worth the wait anymore. I have been to this location many times. Each time I have had to wait a minimum of 8 minutes for my order...and it was just a smoothie. The product is so good I keep telling myself that maybe next time the service will be better. But after spending 18 minutes at the drive thru yesterday I decided enough was enough. I won't ever be back.

Worst customer service ever. There ordering speaker doesn't work so I have to drive up to the window to place my order sit there for 5 minutes call out for someone and still nothing.then finally someone just happens to come out to the window and looks at me like what are you doing there.meanwwhile there are 4 other cars behind me in line.i wish there was another option in navarre for a healthy meal. Like a smoothie king.

This place is a hot mess. First, they only had one staff member working there running the food, making smoothies, doing drive thru, and the register. Ridiculous how management thinks 1 person can do all this on a Sunday morning when it gets extremely busy. We waited for 40 mins and when we finally got our food, they had run out of the bread for our sandwich and gave us different bread. They thought it was a good idea to have us share one sandwich when we bought two. I had to pull out of the drive thru and go in and ask for a second sandwich and waited an additional 15 mins. Get your act together management and owner. And while you’re at it...bring back Popeye’s Favorite cause it’s my favorite too.

I would love to give them credit for their work but almost every time I just want a smoothie before I go to work at 1 I sit in the line for 25-30 minutes before I drive off because I’m not going to be late getting a smoothie when it should have taken 5 minutes or less come on. Summer is here and your going to loose a lot of business by being as slow as you guys are. Wish I could have a different opinion.

Excellent smoothies, low-cost too.

As I was asked to take my order the cashier was unnecessarily rude and rushing my requests. As I got to the window to receive my food I noticed that she had only rang up one smoothie instead of two. I love tropical smoothie but this service made me never want to go back!

Don’t go here unless you have a lot of time. By far, probably the slowest drive through in Florida.

I've given this place 3 tries and it's the same result every time. I've been to the one in Valparaiso/Niceville several times and it is night and day in the quality and speed of service. Wait 10 minutes to order with only one person ahead of you, then wait 20+ minutes for a wrap. Go to the Nicevill location and you are in and out in and out in 10 minutes.

Prices are decent, but they mess up my food order quiet often. And staff is not too friendly. Wait time can be long

This is the very best place to get a smoothie in town. Staff is always friendly and a smoothie will make anyones day! Dont forget to try the food as well!

The staff is incredibly rude, petty and childish! I asked a question about a smoothie. The person taking my order just paused, laughed and answered like a smart aleck teenager. Then just ignored me when I attempted to place my order. When I finally was able to place my order the girl was rude and then told me to have a good day as if nothing unprofessional had happened. Be prepared for the staff to make fun of you and intentionally try to belittle and bully you.

Great and clean food. Very good alternative for a healthy meal when out.

Great Experience! I will admit that my prior experience at this location has been ok. Today, it was a game changer. Not sure if they have new owners or new staff or what. I placed my order online and decided to head over to pick it up. I apparently got there before my order posted to their screen. They came out to my car (I was waiting in the drive-thru) to ask about my online order. The nice lady repeated it to her inside staff. I pulled up to the window and they finally received my online order. I received super service! Food and smoothie were perfect! Thank you guys!

The last few times I’ve been to this location have taken entirely too long for my order. These are at times when there were maybe two or three other customers waiting at the same time. Today, I thought I would order ahead so I could just go in and grab my order. I was very wrong, I waited another 20 minutes after they said my order would be ready on my order confirmation. Something needs to be done at this location because this seems to be an ongoing issue for a while now. Very disappointing.

The staff here are always friendly and the food is always great. The store can get a bit busy at times, however, it is well worth the wait!

The last few times I've been to this location, the wait time has been approximately 15-20. Today we waited about 20 minutes and after we paid at the window we waited about 10 minutes to get our smoothies. There was a young (probably teenage) boy who was just dancing by the window and a young (probably teenage) girl started yelling at him and telling him to "act serious, the customers are watching." She was very nice and confirmed our order but she literally had to yell at the other guy to start our order and basically work. On top of that, our smoothie had chunks of maybe whey protein?? You're not supposed to feel chunks of anything when you order a peanut paradise. Very disappointed with this location and won't be returning.

The people are friendly but they're so slow. And they mess up the order a lot. We were literally the only car and they still took forever. A couple of times our food was cold which I don't understand because we waited so long. But they are friendly.

This used to be one of my to go places. However, lately it hasnt been the best place to just have a smoothie or some food. It varies from the smoothies not being blended correctly(chunks of fruit) and from the order being wrong. Today I waited for 40 minutes for my turkey bacon ranch sandwhich to not have bacon in it and with tomatoes(which I asked for no tomatoes). My sandwhich was cold. Also, the cashier seemed like he didnt know what he was doing and confused. Pretty disappointing.

Worst tropical smoothie cafe in the US.... not only is it nasty in the building.... everytime I go through the drive through it takes 1+ hr to get just 1 smoothie.....who is running this place!!!

Same issue today as the guy who posted 2 days ago. Sat in the drive thru lane and nobody took order. Pulled up to the window and sat for 20 mins waiting to be acknowledged. Employee looked at me multiple times and never came to the window. Insane.

Worst customer service ever! Sat for over 10 mins at the window without anyone ever tending to us, even though she clearly saw us there. Then she proceeded to take others orders when they walked in 10 mins after we had been sitting there. Won't be going back.

I ordered my smoothie online at 1:27 p.m. I am still waiting for it at 2:17 p.m., 50 minutes later. Something is fundamentally wrong with the Navarre branch of tropical smoothie.

This is the slowest drink place on the face of the plant. Are the works just in the back pressing the blend button to make it seem like they are working cause they aren't making smoothies. I have tried this place 3 times now and everytime I've waited 20-30 minutes for a smoothie. Avoid this place unless you have the time.

I ordered the Caribbean wrap and it was quite good.

I went here as a healthy alternative to the other fast foods in Navarre. There were seven of us waiting in the drive-thru line. I ordered ahead of time & was expecting to pick it up. I waited 30+ minutes to only see one car leave the drive-thru line. So I went inside, and saw that they were not taking orders from the people waiting in the drive-thru line. It was disappointing.

Love tropical smoothie, I have their app and very loyal. This location has begun to struggle lately and needs a remodel. Now at the point it’s not smelling right.. long waits but they are busy so I can understand that.Please remodelI’d eat in if they had somewhere to sit and it was an inviting smell

Not worth the 15-30 minute wait for 1 smoothie. Thankfully they got rid of the guy writing his IG handle on the cups though 👌🏻

I previously wrote a negative review because I had several bad visits in a row and I was unimpressed. I went in there twice since my negative review and that have really improved. Definitely more pleased now! Thank you for the change!

I would have given it a one-star but the girl Jessica is very sweet but I don't know if it's her or what the deal is but my smoothie taste like water I'm pretty upset I got a beach bum with white chocolate not a cup of water with a splash of strawberry. Jessica fixed the order and now it taste great!

No signage or any indication they accept cash only. Went to place an order and was informed of this by the lady at the register. I normally don't cary cash. Bet thats wasted a few peoples time recently.

Very good food, it’s a great stop on the way into or coming home from work

The people there...soooo friend!!! This was my first time eating there so I'm always skeptical but it was wonderful. I had the detox green smoothie and the chicken wrap... Awesome!!!
